Niamph O’Malley catalogue (2025).

For holds, Niamh O'Malley's solo exhibition at Artopia Gallery in Milan, I contributed to the graphic design of the saddle-stitched exhibition catalogue. The show took place from March 27 to May 22, 2025, presenting sculptural and video works in dialogue with the gallery space. The catalogue was conceived as a quiet extension of the exhibition, translating its focus on support, balance, fragility, and spatial perception into an editorial object. Through large areas of white space, precise image placement, and a restrained typographic rhythm, the layout allows the works to breathe while preserving the sense of silence and suspension that defines the installation. The publication includes installation views, artwork captions, bilingual texts, and biographical material. Its minimal cover, built around the title holds and the artist's name, reflects the exhibition's essential language and its gestures of holding, supporting, and containing.
